Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jones County, Texas. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
