Building site helper wanted in Cardiff

Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Cardiff, Wales. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
