Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Hays County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
