Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. The role involves investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
