Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chiller technician in Polk County, Oregon. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints The role involves: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
