Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Steele County, Minnesota. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
