Fitter on the line • Essex County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Essex County, New York. You will be based at a busy assembly plant. The role involves: • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses You should have: • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Can read work instructions and basic measurements Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
