Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
