RCC mason — Marion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a RCC mason in Marion County, Oregon. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
