Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Oldham County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
