We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Carter County, Tennessee. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
