Immediate opening: abattoir worker (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Lawrence County, Indiana. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
