Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Racine County, Wisconsin. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 5+ years on the tools preferred.
