We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Bandera County, Texas. You will be based at a busy bakery. On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
