Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Wake County, North Carolina. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
