Site safety steward wanted in Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Knox County, Indiana. The job is on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Rotating shifts.
