Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in City of Norton, Virginia. The job is at a plant nursery. The role involves water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather 1+ years on the tools preferred.
