Now hiring: fabrication workshop technician (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits On the job you will handle: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash 3+ years on the tools preferred. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
