Aluminium tig welder wanted in Acadia Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
