Great opportunity: we are hiring a production line inspector in Union County, South Dakota. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems The role involves draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
