Aluminium TIG welder — Santa Fe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Overtime paid at a premium rate.
