You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts.
