Now hiring: we are hiring an estate gardener in Butts County, Georgia. The job is at a plant nursery. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
