Garment presser wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Jackson County, Kentucky. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
