GTAW welder wanted in Audubon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Audubon County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Part-time with flexible hours.
