Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Henry County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
