Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Powell County, Kentucky. The job is at a dealership paint shop. What we are looking for: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair 5+ years on the tools preferred.
