Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Miller County, Missouri. Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
