Vacancy available: sausage maker (Scotland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in East Lothian, Scotland. You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £1,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
