Argon welder wanted in Ards and North Down

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
