Gtaw welder wanted in Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Perry County, Illinois. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time, day shift.
