Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Lincoln County, Oregon. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Day-to-day duties: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Six days a week, one day off.
