You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing.
