Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Union County, Kentucky. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
