Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Bland County, Virginia. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
