Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in City of Leicester, England. You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
