Paint booth operator — Schoharie County

Join our team: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Schoharie County, New York. You will be based in a busy paint shop. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Your main tasks: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
