Stainless steel welder — Pike County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Pike County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
