Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Ohio County, West Virginia. The job is at a powder coating unit. The role involves: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun You should have: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
