Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazier in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
