Halal butcher — Freeborn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Freeborn County, Minnesota. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
