Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Wurno, Sokoto State. The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 4+ years on the tools preferred.
