Spray painter (automotive) wanted in Brooks County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Brooks County, Texas. You will work at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Six days a week, one day off.
