Escalator technician wanted in Obio/Akpor

Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
