Elevator technician • Lee County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lee County, Georgia. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
