We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in Orleans County, New York. The job is at a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards Day to day you will size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands.
