Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Addison County, Vermont. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
