Fabricator-welder — Elliott County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Elliott County, Kentucky. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
