Now hiring: meat trimmer (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
