Safety officer wanted in Murray County

What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment.
